I’ve had problems with acne since the 4th grade..5 years. But I’ve only ever had it on my face; never on my body (or just barely if i ever did).
Last week, I got some pimply-feeling bumps right near the nape of my neck on my back. I used regular body wash on them to try to get them to go away..they never did.
Then, just a few days after that, I realized I had broken out even more on my back and had a little bit on my chest (maybe one or two little bumps).
Sunday night, I took off my shirt to take a shower and saw that I just broke out all over my chest..I think.
They don’t seem like regular zits. They look like..if you ever nick yourself just a little bit with a razor while shaving your legs and it’s not exactly a cut, but just like a few little red bumps (not razorburn either..if that makes sense, it’s just like a really light cut that doesn’t even bleed).
Also they itch when they’re exposed to cold air. I think I may have quite a few on my back as well, mainly the lower shoulder blades..I haven’t broken out on my lower back at all.
Recently, I did switch to the Clinique 4-step skincare sample set, but that’s only for my face..and two weeks ago I started using the Herbal Essences anti-frizz shampoo for the first time, but I’ve been using the straightening kind of that same brand for months now.
The body wash I use is this Dove "beauty body wash, go fresh, energize"; the shaving cream that I use is Skintimate aromatherapy (but that doesn’t really go on my chest, just on my armpits).
I can’t think of anything that might’ve caused it, either..I just put down the products I use in the shower (except Clinique) in case anyone’s heard about any of them causing weird body acne.
Any help? Does anyone know what this is, or more importantly, how I can get rid of it?
Sounds kind of like a skin disease. Maybe you should get it checked out by a doctor or something?

People suffering from mild or moderate body acne, I heartily recommend the Clear Pores System. Hard to treat cases are better left to a dermatologist’s skills, although ClearPores is certainly up to the task.
The best way to treat acne is to cleanse the skin with a solution containing Salicylic Acid and SD Alcohol 40. The ClearPores body and face washes contain these two excellent ingredients, which are accompanied by the well-known Aloe Vera (to soothe the skin and help the healing process), Dandelion Root and Yellow Dock.
See its official site: http://www.clearpores.com/clicks/clickthrough.html?a=150901
Also…keep your body skin clean every day and be careful not to trigger acne or rashes by wearing very tight clothing or heavy backpacks. If you feel your clothing, backpack or purse is causing you skin problems, then start thinking about alternatives.
